The biomedical technician plays a critical role in the quality of patient treatments. They are the subject matter expert on all dialysis equipment (central or portable) and water systems. Thus, responsible for preventive maintenance and repair of dialysis machines involving quality checks and water treatment systems at a facility. They ensure these systems are running properly and working according to specifications to ensure patient safety and the safety of all staff operating such equipment to provide essential dialysis treatment.
Qualified candidates will have a strong technical background but also “just plain nice” person is an advantage. The opportunities for advancement are extensive and a chance to make a difference in someone’s life which happens every day.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment as recommended by the manufacturer.
- Repair, calibrate, test, clean and disinfect dialysis machines, water distribution loop and ROs according to protocol.
- Mix bicarbonate solution and acid; perform free chlorine and chloramine test as well as water hardness test.
- Disinfect and perform safety checks and tests on all pretreatment water equipment including but not limited to carbon tanks, water softeners, RO units, UV lamps and ultrafilters.
- Re–bed carbon tanks and water softeners as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous dialysis, hospital or medical experience desired.
- Valid state issued driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the business operations manager for HDG Link
- Manage overall operations and is responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control, and safety measures as established and set for the Operations Department
- Ensure safe and efficient operations
- Serve as a company representative on regulatory issues
- Improve the business’ processes and procedures, look for opportunities to improve the overall systems, management reporting and knowledge-based in the areas of information flow
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities following the company’s policies and applicable laws
- Duties may include interviewing, selection and hiring; training new and existing employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; authoring and discussing with employees performance appraisals; addressing employee performance and corrective action plans; employee motivation and rewards
- Organizing the budget of the company in collaboration with the director/CEO
- Develop meeting invitations, agendas, and presentations
- Develop and maintain up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures for key areas of responsibility
- Provide administrative support to the CEO: includes meeting scheduling
- Travel Required
Qualifications:
- Must have 7-10 years work experience in the Biomedical Services Industry
- Must have an advanced experience in managing biomed technicians
- Experience with working with Dialysis clinics and hospitals
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management or related field.
- Experience in management, operations, and leadership.
- Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow management.
- Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
- Excellent communication skill & robust understanding of financial management.
